By using PocketCalorie you agree to the points below.

1. What this app is

1.1PocketCalorie estimates the calories and macronutrients in food from a photo you take.
1.2Estimates are exactly that — estimates. They are generated by an AI model and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
1.3Every result is editable. If we get it wrong, correct it, and your log stays right.

2.1PocketCalorie is a general wellness and food-logging tool. It is not a medical device.
2.2Nothing in the app is medical, nutritional, or clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2.3Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, managing a medical condition, or taking medication.
2.4We enforce a minimum calorie floor and will not generate a target below it. If you are struggling with food, please seek qualified support.

3.1You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3.2You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure, since that's how you sign in.
3.3One account per person. Don't share your account with someone else.

4.1Premium is a recurring auto-renewing subscription, billed through your Apple ID.
4.2A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
4.3Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
4.4Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel it for you.
4.5Deleting your PocketCalorie account does NOT cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately, or you will keep being billed.
4.6Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy, not by us.

5.1Your photos and logs remain yours. We don't claim ownership of them.
5.2You grant us only the permission needed to process your photo and return a nutrition estimate, and to store your logs so the app works across your devices.
5.3You can export your data or delete your account at any time from the Privacy Centre.

7.1We may update, change, or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, we'll tell you.
7.2The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7.3If we make material changes to these terms, we'll notify you in the app before they take effect.

8.1You can delete your account at any time from Privacy Centre → Delete my account. It is permanent.
8.2We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, or where required by law.
